comfy place with a nice terrace, but don’t get played dirty

convenient location

our first booking was cancelled for no reason, and we didn’t get further notice about the cancellation until one day before our arrival. and the funny part is, when we urgently checked stay one day before arrival, this apartment is still available but the price has increased 200 euros, we booked it anyway because there weren’t many options left. Two things that’s annoying: 1. Cancellation with no notice; 2. Price increased when you tried to book the same place again, why?

Extremely cold and humid smelling of mould house. Not ready for winter

been living in Sevilla since December 21 working from home and never had any major issues with the houses. unfortunately in this house I had one of my worst experiences ever and before I even start to describe what happened I must say that the house doesn’t look In reality as good as the pictures specially the terrace . I asked the house owner if I could leave my luggage earlier than the check in time 14 hrs which she nicely said yes it was self check in so I got in at 12:30 and as soon as I entered the house I could feel a strong smell of mould and I could very that the house isolation was very poor ! predicting even before the check in that the house would be very cold ( due to strong smell of mould) I asked the owner straight away ( around 13 hrs) if she could supply us with a small heater for the bathroom or as an extra heating system because the only available was air conditioner in an huge leaving room with high Ceilings original wood frame window and skyline iron frame window in the kitchen which would be a nice feature if it didn’t let all the cold come in! the response that I got from the host straight away was today is impossible! maybe tomorrow I can get someone to bring you an heater . At 20:30 at night I call the owner saying that it was impossible to be in the living room because it was way too cold and the air conditioner wasn’t doing anything! in fact outside of the house it was almost the same temperature as inside but better because there was no smell of mould. she said to me she could only have someone in on a Monday ( this was on a Saturday) and that on Sunday she would come to check if what I was saying about the air conditioner was true. Spend an horrible night with cold in the all house the only place I could be was tge very small room but the smell of mould there was horrendous as well . tried to contact on Sunday morning left a message to call me back that was urgent no answer whatsoever during all morning! so called booking.

the hose was extremely cleaned when we arrived but the check in was supposed to be at 14 hrs and the house was only ready at 15:30 . also notice that under the sink there was a spray to kill cockroaches... fortunately wasn’t there enough time to have an encounter with any of these creatures. ... the kitchen was freezing! I would be better off camping cause at leat I could do a fire to warm me up . you can see that most of these good reviews of this house are in the warmer months so people didn’t encounter this issue with the cold.
